Hyderabad, July 10 -- Five mines of The Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) have been selected for the prestigious 5-Star Rating under the National Coal Mine Rating Programme conducted by the Ministry of Coal for the assessment year 2024-25.
According to the Ministry of Coal, RK Newtech and RK-6 mines in the Srirampur Area, JVR OC-II in the Sathupalli Area, Khairiguda Open Cast in the Bellampalli Area and RG OC-I in the Ramagundam-III Area secured the coveted rating.
Of the 382 coal mines across the country that participated in the programme, only 50 were awarded the 5-Star Rating, with SCCL accounting for five of them.
