Karimnagar, Sept. 20 -- Thieves targeted two SBI ATMs at Durshed and Thimmapur in Karimnagar district in the early hours of Sunday, disabling CCTV cameras before stealing cash.
At Durshed, three miscreants arrived in a Scorpio around 0300 hours, damaged the CCTV cameras and used a gas cutter to break open the cash dispensing machine before fleeing.
At Thimmapur, a miscreant reportedly disguised as a woman entered the ATM and sprayed the CCTV cameras to prevent clear recording of his movements and identity before stealing the cash.
