Hyderabad, July 6 -- Officials of the Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Monday caught the Tahsildar of Cheryala Mandal in Siddipet district allegedly while accepting a bribe of Rs 70,000 for processing NALA conversion applications.

According to an ACB release, Korra Dileep Naik was trapped at his office at around 1440 hours while allegedly demanding and accepting the bribe from a complainant for processing 11 NALA conversion applications, of which eight had already been processed.

The applications pertained to land measuring 30 guntas in Survey Nos. 833/B, 833/C, 833/D, 833/E, 834/B, 834/C, 834/D and 834/E at Nagapuri village in the names of Smt. Jamuna Kanakamma and others.
