Hyderabad, June 18 -- Telangana Minister for Women and Child Welfare Seethakka on Thursday visited NIMS Hospital in Hyderabad to inquire about the condition of the minor girl from Khammam district who was sexually assaulted and is currently undergoing treatment.
Doctors at NIMS informed the Minister that surgery was successfully performed on the girl and that her post-operative condition is being closely monitored. The medical team said they are providing the best possible treatment and continuously tracking her recovery.
Seethakka, accompanied by Telangana State Legal Services Authority Member Secretary Justice Panchakshari, met the victim's parents and assured them of the government's full support.
