Hyderabad, Oct. 8 -- Telangana Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Minister Danasari Anasuya (Seethakka) Thursday directed officials to make advance arrangements for the grand and safe celebration of Bathukamma across the State.
The Minister asked Collectors, District Panchayat Officers, Panchayat Secretaries and Sarpanches to coordinate and ensure sanitation, electricity, drinking water, roads and security at Bathukamma venues.
She ordered special sanitation drives around villages, tanks, ponds and ghats, besides repairing potholes, clearing vegetation and debris, installing lighting and improving access roads.
