Hyderabad, April 5 -- The Telangana government has taken up a Rs 225 Cr. redevelopment of the Basara Gnana Saraswati Temple, aiming to expand and modernise the historic shrine while preserving its traditional character.
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will perform the bhoomi puja for the project on Monday. The redevelopment, planned with the approval of the Sringeri Peetham, will include a nine-storey Rajagopuram, a temple tank in the northeast, and expanded infrastructure.
