Jagtial, Aug. 14 -- A Revenue Inspector was caught by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) while allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 30,000 from a complainant in Beerpur mandal of Jagtial district on Thursday.
The accused officer, Manchikatla Rahul, Revenue Inspector at the Office of the Tahsildar, Beerpur, was caught by the ACB Karimnagar Unit at the complainant's residence in Siripuram Colony, Beerpur, while accepting the bribe.
According to the ACB release on Friday, Rahul initially demanded Rs 50,000 to conduct a field survey of the complainant's land and issue a report required for registration and issuance of a Pattadar Passbook.
