Khammam, Jan. 2 -- At least 20 students were injured when a private school bus fell into an irrigation canal in Vemsoor mandal in the district on Friday.
The incident occurred between Ganeshpadu and Sobbaigudem villages when the bus was taking students to drop them at their homes after school hours in the evening, police said here.
Around 60 students were in the bus when the mishap occurred. The injured students were shifted to a local hospital.
A case was booked and investigating is on, police added .
