Hyderabad, Sept. 2 -- Telangana Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy on Wednesday said the Congress government had worked to ease the hardships of the common people during its 1,000 days in office and was implementing its electoral promises in phases.
Addressing a press conference at the Secretariat, Ponguleti said the government had disbursed Rs 1.76 lakh crore to farmers, provided a Rs 500 per quintal bonus on paddy and issued notifications for 10,000 jobs.
He said the government had also cleared pending dues under Kalyana Lakshmi, Shaadi Mubarak and payments to Sarpanches.
