Hyderabad, Aug. 17 -- The Special Operations Team (SOT), LB Nagar Zone, in coordination with Nagole Police, busted an Odisha-Hyderabad ganja supply chain and arrested two interstate drug peddlers, seizing 23.02 kg of ganja worth Rs. 11.51 lakh, police said on Monday.
The arrested persons were identified as Trinath Nirike (40), a driver from Koraput district of Odisha, and Sona Hunthal (28), also a driver from Koraput district.
Police also seized two mobile phones and two four-wheelers used for transporting the contraband, Malkajgiri Commissioner of Police B. Sumathi said in a release here.
