Hyderabad, Sept. 23 -- BRS Working President K T Rama Rao on Wednesday alleged that the power crisis in Telangana was due to administrative failure and mismanagement by the Congress government, particularly in coal supplies, power generation and financial dealings between Singareni and Genco.
Addressing a press conference at Telangana Bhavan, KTR claimed that rising power demand, coal shortages and reduced hydel generation were affecting electricity supply to farmers and industries. He alleged that farmers in several areas were receiving power for only around six hours and industries were being forced to depend on generators.
