Hyderabad, Aug. 27 -- Urging students to focus on sports alongside academics, union Minister for Coal and Mines G. Kishan Reddy on Thursday said that promoting sports has become a key priority of the Modi government, which is identifying and nurturing sporting talent at the grassroots level.
"The government is providing comprehensive support to athletes, including nutritious food and opportunities to train with their preferred coaches in countries of their choice," he said while attending as the chief guest at the 'Khelo India Dialogue - Khel Ki Baat PM Ke Saath' held at the English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU) campus in Hyderabad.
