Hyderabad, Nov. 2 -- Five coal mines of Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) have secured prestigious National Five-Star Ratings for the financial year 2024-25 in recognition of their performance in mining operations, safety, environmental protection and workers' welfare.
Union Minister of State for Coal and Mines Satish Chandra Dubey presented the awards to SCCL Chairman and Managing Director Dr. Buddhaprakash Jyoti at a ceremony held in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, on Monday.
The five award-winning mines are RKNT and RK-6 Incline in Srirampur Area, JVR OC-2 in Sattupalli Area, Khairigura OC in Bellampalli Area and RGOC-1 in Ramagundam-3 Area, the state-owned mining company said in a release.
