Karimnagar, March 18 -- In a major operation, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has taken into custody a Prohibition and Excise Inspector and a government school teacher in connection with an alleged bribery and benami transaction case.
According to an ACB release here on Wednesday, Sri Gundeti Ramu, Excise Inspector (Karimnagar Urban), and Jakkani Venu, Secondary Grade Teacher at MPPS Obulapur in Mallial mandal of Jagtial district, were apprehended on March 17 around 2025 hours in a disproportionate assets and illegal gratification case.
