Hyderabad, Aug. 9 -- Telangana Deputy Chief Minister and Energy Minister, Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, today visited the India Energy & Climate Center (IECC) at the University of California, Berkeley, where he held discussions on India's clean energy transition, renewable energy targets and opportunities for cooperation in advanced energy technologies.
The high-level interaction at the Goldman School of Public Policy focused on India's target of achieving 500 GW of non-fossil fuel-based power capacity by 2030, energy security, renewable energy deployment and the economic opportunities arising from declining clean technology costs, an official release said here.
