Hyderabad, Sept. 1 -- Communist Party of India (CPI) National Secretary Dr K Narayana today demanded that former Telangana Chief Minister and BRS President K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) resign from his MLA post for failing to attend the ongoing Assembly sessions.

In a statement here, Narayana came down heavily on KCR for staying away from crucial debates, including the introduction of the 42 per cent reservations bill for Backward Classes and the tabling of the report on the Kaleshwaram project.

"Instead of attending the Assembly, is KCR playing dramas in the farmhouse? This is sheer irresponsibility," he remarked.
