Hanamkonda, June 19 -- CPI Telangana Assistant Secretary Takkallapalli Srinivasa Rao on Friday alleged that the ongoing struggles for land by the poor are a result of the government's failure to distribute housing plots to eligible families.
Addressing a massive protest organised by the CPI and CPM outside the Hanamkonda Collectorate, Srinivasa Rao demanded that the government immediately issue housing plot titles to all eligible poor families and provide permanent housing under the Indiramma housing scheme.
