Hyderabad, Feb. 3 -- Telangana Director General of Police B Sivadhar Reddy on Tuesday instructed police officers to ensure that the upcoming municipal elections are conducted effectively and strictly in accordance with the law.
He addressed Police Commissioners, District Superintendents of Police, and Station House Officers (SHOs) of election-bound areas through a video conference.
Referring to the municipal elections scheduled in seven municipal corporations and 116 municipalities across the state, the DGP said polling will be held on February 11 and counting on February 13.
