Hyderabad, June 13 -- Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy was forced to alter his travel plans tonight after the flight carrying him from New Delhi to Hyderabad was diverted to Bengaluru due to adverse weather conditions over the city.
According to official sources, the Chief Minister was travelling on an IndiGo flight after a two-day visit to the national capital.
The flight departed Delhi at around 7 p.m. and was scheduled to land at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Shamshabad, about 9 p.m.
However, Air Traffic Control (ATC) did not grant landing clearance because of poor visibility and unfavourable weather conditions caused by heavy rain and strong winds in and around Hyderabad.
