Hyderabad, Oct. 22 -- BJP Telangana president N Ramchander Rao on Thursday demanded that the Congress government address unresolved issues affecting tribal communities, particularly those concerning Podu lands, instead of making promises during elections.

Addressing a gathering at the BJP state office after paying floral tributes to tribal freedom fighter Komaram Bheem on his birth anniversary, Rao criticised the government for neglecting the development of tribal and agency areas.

He pointed to inadequate medical facilities, roads and schools, besides concerns over the roster system for Scheduled Tribe reservations.
