Hyderabad, April 17 -- The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Mahila Morcha on Friday organised a 3D sand art rangoli exhibition and a student interaction programme at Pallavi Engineering College, Hayathnagar, highlighting women's empowerment and support for the 33% Women's Reservation Bill.
The event featured female students expressing their gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the enactment of the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam.
BJP Telangana State President N Ramchander Rao who attended as the chief guest, said the legislation, passed in 2023, provides 33 per cent reservation for women in legislative bodies and fulfills a long-pending demand of women across the country.
