Hyderabad, May 13 -- A delegation from Bhagyanagar Ganesh Utsav Samithi (BGUS) today met Telangana Director General of Police C V Anand and submitted a representation seeking stringent action against illegal cattle transportation and stricter implementation of cow protection laws in the state.
During the meeting, the delegation urged the DGP to invoke the Preventive Detention (PD) Act against organised syndicates allegedly involved in illegal cattle smuggling.
