Patna, March 12 -- In a sharp attack on the NDA government, the leader of the opposition in the Bihar Assembly Tejaswi Yadav, on Thursday, accused the state government of failing to improve key development indicators despite being in power for over two decades.
Yadav described Bihar as a "unique example" where a double-engine NDA government has been in power for years, yet the state continues to struggle with poverty, unemployment, and mass migration.
He claimed that Bihar remains the poorest state in the country and leads several negative rankings, including migration, crime, corruption, unemployment, multidimensional poverty, and school dropout rates.
