Patna, Nov. 4 -- Leader of the Opposition in the Bihar Assembly and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav today unveiled a series of welfare promises for farmers, women, and government employees, asserting that if a Mahagathbandhan government comes to power, it would provide bonus payments over the Minimum Support Price (MSP) for paddy and wheat, along with free electricity for irrigation.

Addressing a press conference in Patna, Yadav said farmers in Bihar were being forced to sell their produce below MSP due to the lack of an effective procurement system.
