Patna, Sept. 20 -- Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) National Working President and Leader of Opposition in the Bihar Assembly Tejashwi Prasad Yadav on Sunday described the flood and drought situation in Bihar as serious and urged the Centre and the state government to provide immediate relief to affected people and compensate farmers after assessing crop losses.

Speaking to media persons, Yadav said Bihar had been facing flood conditions for the past 28 days, while several parts of the state were also experiencing drought-like conditions due to inadequate rainfall.
