Patna, June 10 -- Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader and Leader of Opposition in the Bihar Assembly, Tejashwi Yadav, on Wednesday alleged that Bihar was facing a severe financial crisis and questioned the state government's decision to withdraw Rs 3,662 crore from the Bihar Contingency Fund for payment of social security pensions.
He asked whether the move indicated that the state was heading towards a financial emergency under the NDA's "double-engine" government.
Questioning the state's fiscal health, he asked whether Bihar was being pushed towards "bankruptcy" by the NDA government's policies.
