Patna, June 29 -- The multi-crore Rishu Shri mega scam has triggered a fresh political confrontation in Bihar, with Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Prasad Yadav today accusing the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government of shielding influential officials and political figures involved in the case.

Releasing a list of 20 questions, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader demanded a fair investigation, identification of all those responsible and stringent legal action against the guilty.

Yadav alleged that during the NDA's 21-year rule in Bihar, an ordinary contractor was able to manipulate government tenders across several departments while the state's oversight and monitoring mechanisms remained ineffective.
