Patna, April 27 -- Leader of the Opposition in the Bihar Assembly, Tejashwi Yadav, on Monday alleged that the NDA government has betrayed the women of Bihar. He claimed that as the government sensed defeat in the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections, it opened banks even during the elections to influence voters.

In a post on X, the RJD leader wrote that the government lured women voters by transferring Rs10,000 into their bank accounts. He further alleged that they were later threatened and told that cameras were installed at polling booths, and that if they did not vote for a particular party, the money deposited in their accounts would be recovered.
