Baghpat, Aug. 28 -- A 19-year-old boy has been arrested for allegedly killing a 14-year-old girl in Boudha village of Baghpat district, police said today.
According to Additional Superintendent of Police NP Singh, the incident took place on Wednesday when the accused, identified as Samun, entered the girl's home and attacked her with a shovel, resulting in her death.
During the investigation, Samun admitted that he was in love with the girl but his feelings were not reciprocated.
ASP Singh said that the accused wished to have physical relations with the girl, but she refused, angering him and leading to the murder.
