Thiruvananthapuram, July 15 -- Technopark-based spacetech startup HEX20, which built India's first private-sector rideshare satellite, has successfully launched its second satellite, KOYO (Kinetic Optical Yaw Observer), for Taiwan's National Central University, marking another milestone in the company's growing global space mission portfolio.
The satellite was launched aboard SpaceX's Transporter-17 mission and was deployed into orbit about an hour after liftoff. Around 40 minutes after deployment, HEX20 received the satellite's first beacon signals, which were successfully decoded by the SatNOGS amateur satellite community, confirming healthy initial operations.
