Shillong, Sept. 2 -- Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma on Wednesday said that the world of work is changing rapidly due to technology, but maintained that certain essential human qualities will never go out of demand.

Addressing a district talent event 2026 under the SPARK (School Programmes for Articulation, Resilience and Kindness) initiative, Meghalaya here in West Garo Hills district, Sangma said that the state government has invested in human capabilities that allow a student to make use of everything built for them.

Noting that technology is rapidly transforming the world of work, he said education systems must evolve to prepare children for emerging challenges.
