Hyderabad, June 8 -- Telangana Director General of Police (DGP) C.V. Anand on Monday stated that the State Police Department had once been among the leading police organizations in the country in terms of technology adoption and utilization.
However, due to inadequate use of available technological systems and gaps in field-level implementation in recent years, the department has fallen behind in certain areas, he said.
Addressing SHOs along with officers from various units through a video conference held at the DGP Office here, the DGP emphasized the need to effectively utilize available technological resources and further strengthen data-driven policing systems.
