Shillong, April 26 -- Teara Sangma becomes first Garo recipient of CCRT Junior Scholarship in BharatanatyamShillong, April 26 (UNI) Teara Ianchi D. Sangma, a young tribal Garo dancer from Meghalaya, has been awarded the prestigious CCRT Junior Scholarship in Bharatanatyam by the Centre for Cultural Resources and Training (CCRT) under the union Ministry of Culture.

Sangma is the first Garo girl to receive this honour while pursuing Indian classical dance at Gitanjali Dance Academy, Shillong.
