New Delhi, July 20 -- Thousands of supporters of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), marching toward Parliament were stopped by security forces outside the Sansad Marg Police Station on Monday as they demanded accountability for the alleged NEET paper leak and the resignation of union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

The city was thrown into gridlock as police barricaded streets several kilometers away from the protest site. Traffic snarls and long tailbacks of vehicles were a common sight across central Delhi. Many midday commuters were able to reach their offices only after several hours.
