Gangtok, Sept. 9 -- After conducting an extensive assessment of flood-affected areas of Nepal, Team Sikkim, under the banner of Himalayan Solidarity and the guidance of Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang (Golay), has identified priority areas for restoration and reconstruction and appealed to humanitarian organisations, civil society groups, institutions and individuals to extend support to the affected people.
The nine-day visit of Team Sikkim, from August 31-8, covered the flood-affected areas of Trishuli, Nuwakot and Rasuwa.
