New Delhi, June 26 -- Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has ordered a probe following complaints against a private hospital in North Delhi's Shalimar Bagh over irregularities and negligence of patients. The government has decided to initiate action against the hospital.

Officials said that negligence against patients and exploitation will not be tolerated.

The inquiry comes after a family filed a complaint with the CM, during a public hearing at the Chief Minister Jan Seva Sadan, alleging that their son, who had been stabbed in the Shalimar Bagh area, was taken to the said private hospital, and the hospital allegedly demanded money before beginning his treatment.
