New Delhi, June 29 -- India delivered an impressive performance at the Global Skills Challenge (GSC) Australia 2026, securing three gold medals, one silver and one bronze, strengthening the country's preparations for the 48th WorldSkills Competition to be held in Shanghai later this year.
The week-long international competition, held from June 23 to 29, brought together nearly 600 competitors, experts, translators and officials from 16 WorldSkills member countries, including Australia, China, the United States, Japan, France, South Korea, Austria and India.
India's medal winners showcased excellence across advanced manufacturing, digital technologies, creative industries and service-sector skills.
