Mumbai, April 13 -- A fresh controversy has emerged in the Indian IT sector after the Nascent Information Technology Employees Senate (NITES) escalated its complaint against Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) to the Ministry of Labour and Employment, alleging serious lapses in workplace safety and internal grievance redressal systems.

The complaint, centred around incidents reported from TCS's Nashik facility, has triggered wider concern over employee safety protocols in large IT firms.
