Ranchi, Jan. 7 -- Districts with lower reporting of presumptive tuberculosis (TB) cases have been directed to analyse the reasons for the shortfall and take immediate corrective measures to intensify screening, as key directions were issued during the State TB Forum meeting held under the National Health Mission as part of the National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme (NTEP) in Jharkhand.

The Additional Chief Secretary, Health, Medical Education and Family Welfare Department, Ajoy Kumar Singh emphasised that improved detection is critical to achieving TB elimination targets.
