Bhubaneswar, June 29 -- Ahead of the monsoon season, TP Southern Odisha Distribution Limited (TPSODL) has stepped up its preparedness by strengthening emergency response systems, reinforcing power infrastructure and deploying additional manpower to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply across its operational areas.
The power distribution utility has positioned 5,925 frontline personnel across its six operational circles, backed by emergency vehicles and restoration teams to tackle disruptions caused by heavy rain, strong winds and lightning. Six mobile distribution substations and two tower wagons have also been strategically stationed to expedite restoration work in the event of outages.
