New Delhi, Feb. 19 -- Tata Group, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and OpenAI on Thursday announced a strategic partnership, that will drive AI-powered innovation, and build 100 megawatts (MW) of AI infrastructure, with an option to scale up to 1 gigawatt (GW).
TCS' HyperVault unit and OpenAI have also agreed to a multi-year partnership to develop the green-energy powered infrastructure in India.
"This infrastructure will power next-generation AI workloads and position India as a global AI hub," the Tata group said, and added that the partnership will span across enterprise, consumer, and social sectors.
