Parmod KumarNew Delhi, Aug. 20 -- Former Tehelka magazine editor Tarun Tejpal on Thursday approached the Supreme Court against the August 6, 2026, judgment of the Goa bench of the Bombay High Court convicting him for sexually assaulting his junior colleague in an elevator of a high-end hotel in Goa in 2013 and sentencing him to 10 years' imprisonment.
Tejpal's petition challenging his conviction and sentence was filed in the Supreme Court on Thursday morning and is likely to be mentioned on Friday for an urgent hearing as he is required to surrender in the first week of September.
