New Delhi, March 9 -- Tamil film star and Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) chief Vijay has reportedly requested the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to grant him an exemption from appearing for questioning scheduled on March 10 in connection with the Karur stampede case.
The CBI had asked him to join the investigation in connection with the stampede case on March 10.
According to sources, Vijay has sent a letter to the agency requesting that he be called for questioning on another date instead of March 10.
Sources further indicated that the CBI may formally confirm this update shortly.
This will be his third round of questioning.
Earlier, his statement was recorded on January 12 and 19.
