Krishnagar, July 22 -- The investigation into the sensational death of nine-year-old Tamanna has reached a crucial stage with the Bengal police filing a supplementary charge sheet against the remaining accused, bringing all 24 persons named in the FIR under the ambit of prosecution.

With the latest filing, all the accused have now been arrested during the investigation while 23 remain in judicial custody and one is out on bail, paving the way for the commencement of trial.
