Hyderabad, March 26 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has directed officials to revamp MMTS services in Hyderabad by aligning them with passenger needs, improving last-mile connectivity, and enhancing revenue generation.

During a review meeting held at the Legislative Council Hall on Thursday, the Chief Minister expressed concern over the year-on-year decline in MMTS ridership and sought detailed explanations from officials.

He instructed authorities to increase the frequency of MMTS trains during peak office hours and ensure strict adherence to punctuality.

Emphasising commuter convenience, the CM pointed out that many MMTS stations are located deep within localities and lack adequate access to RTC bus services.
