Tridib BaparnashNew Delhi, June 16 -- India will look for a more complete performance when they take on the Netherlands in their second Group A match of the ICC Women's T20 World Cup in Leeds on Wednesday.
Although India began their campaign with a convincing 64-run win over Pakistan, there were still areas that needed improvement. Smriti Mandhana's fluent 68 at the top of the order and Richa Ghosh's late cameo helped India post a competitive total, but the rest of the batting line-up could not make significant contributions. Opener Shafali Verma fell early, while captain Harmanpreet Kaur got a start without converting it into a big score. Middle-order batter Bharti Fulmali also endured a disappointing outing.
