Hyderabad, June 17 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has written an open letter to union Minister G Kishan Reddy, urging immediate release of the IRFC loan and expeditious Central approvals for the Hyderabad Metro Phase-2 project.
He also sought an early meeting with Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw to resolve the issue.
The Chief Minister said Metro Phase-2 proposes seven corridors covering 122.9 km at an estimated cost of Rs 38,595 crore. He noted that the State Government had addressed all objections raised by the Centre and decided to acquire Metro Phase-1 to ensure seamless operation of the entire network.
