Hyderabad, June 19 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Friday expressed gratitude to Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, the Ministry of Defence and the Indian Army for granting permission to the state government to undertake work on the flagship Gandhi Sarovar Project at Bapu Ghat in Hyderabad.

In a post on social media platform X, the Chief Minister said the approval marks an important milestone in the Telangana government's vision for the comprehensive rejuvenation of the Musi River and the development of its riverfront as a vibrant ecological, cultural and public asset.
