Hyderabad, May 28 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Thursday unveiled the statue of legendary actor and former Chief Minister N T Rama Rao at Maitrivanam in Ameerpet on the occasion of NTR's 103rd birth anniversary and described him as a leader who transcended caste, religion, region, and language.
Addressing a large gathering after inaugurating the statue, Revanth Reddy said NTR was a national icon whose name symbolised integrity, honesty, commitment, and self-respect for Telugu people. He stated that, along with Dr B R Ambedkar and former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, NTR would always remain one of the greatest personalities in Indian history.
