Nalgonda, June 28 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Sunday challenged the BRS and BJP to a special session of the State Legislature to compare their respective records in governance, asserting that the Congress government had fulfilled major welfare and development commitments within two-and-a-half years of assuming office.

Addressing a public meeting after laying the foundation stone for 441 road projects worth Rs 13,006.27 crore under the Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM) in Nalgonda district, the Chief Minister said he was ready to convene a special session of the Assembly and Legislative Council to debate the implementation of election promises and development works undertaken by successive governments.
